Meet the Team

Hello!

I'm Mrs. W and I am so excited to be at Joe Michell School! While I didn't attend Joe Michell as a LVJUSD student, I have always had connections to this school! My father-in-law grew up down the street and attended JMS when he was young, I volunteered at JMS when I was a High School senior, and the children in my neighborhood attend JMS! Both my kids have attended JMS, too! It's a place that has always felt like home and I feel so lucky to be here every day with you!

I am passionate about creating safe spaces for students to be themselves and explore who they want to be in the future. I am incredibly excited to get to know you and to help support you along your journey while you're here.
